"Dear Hester" in a way is a portrait of my mother who passed away many years ago. But it's also about being able to see past our grief and reflect joyfully on the time we had together, appreciate the person that they were, and the lasting influence they manifest through us everyday.
I love and miss my mother everyday. She had a big role in helping me become resilient and driven person I am today.
We all have people who have left a lasting impression on us and in that way we carry them with us into the future, and that is a beautiful thing.
